What warms your heart when you think of your experience at Scheck Hillel?
It is the place where I met my wife and where I now send our four children.

Share a funny/interesting/unique story from your days at Scheck Hillel.
I was asked to join the soccer team in 9th grade even though I had never really played. On the team there were two guys who had recently come from Argentina. I befriended them and started dating their sister, Fernanda. Hillel soccer is the reason I found my wife!

Do you feel your days as a Scheck Hillel student had an impact on your adult life and your choices? How so?
Hillel was always a place of Jewish community. I went to college with a strong sense of Jewish identity which has only gotten stronger as time has passed. I grew up in Hillel with a lot of people who now send their kids to Hillel. M'dor L'dor…

What educational path did you follow?
I attended Emory University and received a B.S. in Political Science and Philosophy. I then got my J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law while I worked in real estate on the side.

What is your current profession, and where do you work? How did you come to work in this field?
I am involved in all types of businesses. I recently sold my consumer electronics company and started a real estate development business. I am also a board member for several other businesses/organizations.

What is most rewarding about the work you do? What are you passionate about?
My number one passion in life is my family. They mean everything to me. My second passion is connecting with people to succeed in businesses.

Looking back, what advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
We often forget that it is not all about the destination. It is about the journey along the way. Take advantage of every opportunity and enjoy every moment.
